Livery Luncheon For Guests Feb 20

19 February 2020

Our first Livery Luncheon in 2020 (and one of our last events in the current Brewers' Hall), which took place this month, was a great success with nearly 100 attendees coming along to enjoy the day. With Liverymen bringing colleagues and friends as their guests, the brewing industry was well represented! In addition to individuals from our member breweries and pub companies, we also welcomed brewing equipment suppliers, hop merchants, maltsters and some non-member brewers, including representatives of Gipsy Hill Brewing Company, Crate Brewery and Five Points Brewery.

These lunches are an opportunity for members to catch up and network with each other and are one of the ways that we deliver on the Company's objectives, which include providing a forum to foster social contact within the brewing industry and associate organisations. Focusing on the brewing industry, the Company also aims to: provide a meeting place and facilities through which the Company and member companies can promote the interests of brewers the brewing industry; support excellence and achievement in the industry and in particular in member companies; and encourage research and understanding of beer and brewing, its heritage, and the Company itself. These objectives fit alongside our philanthropic endeavours, with the Company acting as Trustee to and administering the assets of various charities, including their endowed funds, in order to support both today’s and future beneficiaries.
