Hall Redevelopment Update

19 March 2019

The project to redevelop Brewers’ Hall continues apace and we are delighted to announce that we recently received planning permission from the City of London. Working closely with our Project Managers, Gardiner and Theobold, we are now moving on to the next phase of the work, which will focus in on detailed design and planning. The images below summarise the current design, which will be refined in the coming months.

The newly established Hall Financing Committee have appointed Rothschild & Co as advisors to assist in securing financing for the project and this work will proceed in tandem with design and planning. The current timetable sees the works commence in Q2 2020, with the Brewers’ Company out of the Hall for approximately 18 months.

We are currently developing a new section of our website which will be regularly updated with news and information to keep Liverymen abreast of the progress of the Hall redevelopment works. If you have any questions about the project, please contact the Clerk at [email protected].
