Crane Installed at Brewers' Hall

This weekend saw a milestone in the project to redevelop Brewers’ Hall as the crane required to lift the steels for the additional floors was installed. Due to safety and other practical considerations it was not possible to put the crane in the immediate proximity of the Hall, so it has been installed in a rather unusual position directly inside the building, in what will become a new lift shaft (once it is crane free!).

The redevelopment of Brewers’ Hall, which began last October and is due to complete in early 2022, will see the existing roof and third floor mansard removed and three new floors added. The Brewers’ Company’s offices and ceremonial space will occupy the ground and first floors, while a new, separate, entrance in Aldermanbury Square will provide access to four floors of purpose built, COVID-secure offices available to let.
