Brewers' Hall Redevelopment Update

The redevelopment of Brewers’ Hall commenced at the end of 2020 and we are pleased to report that progress has been steady ever since.  The programme remains on track, in spite of the challenges presented by the pandemic.  Works over the last few months have included installation of scaffolding and hoarding around the building, the soft strip of internal areas, the installation of new steels for structural support and the commencement of structural demolition configurations on the ground floor. 

The redevelopment will see the replacement of the existing third floor mansard with a new floor, plus an additional two storey mansard roof extension.  In total there will be four floors of lettable office space situated above the Brewers’ Company offices and ceremonial areas, with a separate entrance and lift.  The pit for the new lift has now been excavated in the basement and the external parapet has been removed on the west and south sides of the building in preparation for the roof extension.
