Excellent Exam Results Across Brewers' Company Schools

The Brewers’ Company is delighted to congratulate students and staff at both Aldenham School and Dame Alice Owen’s School on another year of outstanding A Level and GCSE results.

At A Level, both schools reported excellent outcomes and impressive progression to higher education. Dame Alice Owen’s School celebrated another exceptional year, with 90% of grades awarded at A*-B and half of all students achieving three or more A/A* grades. The school also saw significant success in applications to highly competitive universities and courses, including Oxbridge, Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science.

Meanwhile, Aldenham School recorded its strongest A Level results to date, with nearly 70% of grades awarded at A*-B and almost 90% at A*-C. An impressive 99% of students secured places at their first or second choice university, while more than half of the cohort will progress to Russell Group institutions.

GCSE students also have much to celebrate. At Dame Alice Owen’s School, almost three-quarters of all grades were awarded at the top 7-9 level, while 93% of grades were achieved at grade 5 or above. Particularly notable was the increase in the highest grades, with 31% of all entries awarded a grade 9.

Aldenham School likewise enjoyed one of its strongest GCSE years, with almost half of all grades awarded at 7-9 and more than 85% at grades 5-9. The school highlighted growing numbers of students achieving grades 7 and above, reflecting continued academic progress across the cohort.

While examination results tell one part of the story, they also represent years of commitment, resilience and personal growth. Students at both schools have demonstrated remarkable dedication, and their success will open doors to a wide range of future opportunities.
