On 20 May the Brewers’ Company hosted its annual Brewing and Beer Brands Forum, with an exploration of new eco-taxes and what they mean for the brewing industry.
From Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) to Deposit Return Schemes (DRS), government eco-tax reforms will significantly impact the brewing industry. The event at Brewers’ Hall provided a forum for discussion, featuring presentations from expert speakers and an opportunity for brewers to come together to share knowledge and experience. There was a particular emphasis on helping brewers to understand their responsibilities, the timelines involved and how their businesses could be impacted.
