Dame Alice Owen's School Sixth Form Ranked Among the UK's Best

We are very pleased to congratulate Dame Alice Owen’s School Sixth Form on being named one of the top ten in the UK in the Telegraph’s Sixth Form Rankings 2026.

The ranking is based on a range of measures including A-level performance, university progression, outcomes for disadvantaged pupils and the breadth of subjects offered, providing a comprehensive picture of sixth form success. DAOS Sixth Form achieved the highest possible score of 40 out of 40 to secure its place in the top ten.

This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication of the Sixth Form team, the hard work and ambition of students, and the support provided across the entire school community. In a message to staff, Headteacher Hannah Nemko noted that success at sixth form level is built not only through outstanding teaching, tutoring and enrichment, but also on the strong foundations established throughout pupils' time at the School.

Congratulations to all staff, students and governors on this exceptional accomplishment.
