Brewers' London Bike Ride 2026
16 July 2026
The fifth annual Brewers’ Thames bike ride on 10-11 July was the hottest yet in temperatures over 30oC, needing frequent brewery stops to top up coolant levels!
The first day from Windsor & Eton Brewery downstream via Ashby’s (Staines), Hugo Anderson’s nano-brewery (Chertsey), Big Smoke (Esher), Windsor & Eton’s taproom (Kingston), and Jawbone and Twickenham Breweries finished at the former Stag Mortlake Brewery. Saturday started at Stag and visited Fullers and Sambrook’s en route to Guinness Open Gate in Covent Garden and then back south of the river to Southwark, Small Beer and Orbit Breweries.
Riders included stalwart brewers Hugo Anderson, Oisin Hayden-Burrell, Derek Prentice, Steve Wilkinson, and Liverymen Chris Smart and Willie Calvert, as well as our own Clerk, Nick Tindal. Thanks to all our hosts including Jen Merrick at Big Smoke, Ben Hughes at Jawbone, Ben Norman at Twickenham, Guy Stewart at Fullers, Duncan Sambrook at Wandsworth, Hollie Stephenson and Nidhi Sharma at Guinness, Peter Jackson at Southwark, Felix James at Small Beer, and Robbie Sykes at Orbit.
