Brewers' Hall Redevelopment Update Nov 21

The redevelopment of Brewers’ Hall has now been ongoing for just over a year and there has been much exciting progress!

This month the scaffolding around the Hall is coming down, revealing the completed new double story mansard roof, in smart emerald green copper with its striking linear design. Internal works are progressing, with extensive first fits and boarding now the primary activities on site.

The contractors, Neilcott, continue to do an excellent job, although they are not immune from the supply chain and manpower issues impacting companies nationwide and have warned of a three week delay to completion – now scheduled for mid-March 2022. Given the current economic environment, the Hall Development Committee continue to be pleased that the works are not more seriously impacted and that the project remains on budget.

The Company’s property managers are reporting that the number of letting transactions in the City continues to rise and are confident of achieving the forecast rents for the four floors of high-end, COVID-secure office space that the project will create, especially given the fantastic quality of the design, the high levels of natural light and ventilation, and the excellent location of the building. Marketing of the office space is now underway, with hoardings, a website and brochures in production.
