The City's Festival of Beer and Music

The fifth annual City Beerfest, which took place in the Guildhall Yard last week, was once again a resounding success.  We were delighted to welcome thousands of visitors to the event throughout the day, while sixteen of our member breweries ensured that the beer kept flowing!  Music was provided by Miguel Gorodi and QuartetBartosz Glowacki & the Deco EnsembleNerija Jazz group, and the Kansas Smitty’s House Band.

We are very grateful to all of the breweries who generously provided their beer and their time: McMullen & Sons, Budweiser Budvar, Camerons Brewery, Exmoor Ales, Fullers, Greene King, Hall & Woodhouse, Harvery & Son, Hepworth & Co, Marstons, Meantime, Robinson’s Brewery, Shepherd Neame, Sleeman Breweries, Theakstons and West Berkshire Brewery.  Not only was  the Beerfest great fun for everyone involved, it also raised significant funds for the City Music Foundation and the Lord Mayor’s Appeal.

City Beerfest will return again on Thursday 5 July 2018 – we hope we will see you there!
